Creating an event or league

From Events you can start a one-day shoot or a multi-week league, side by side.

Create a shoot asks for a name, address (used to build its public URL), date & time (or leave blank for TBD), an optional description, entry fee, an optional capacity, visibility, which classes apply, format (3D, Indoor 300, Portsmouth, WA 18m, WA 720), targets, and scoring.

Start a league asks for the same core details, plus:

• How do the weeks fall? — Every week, same day; same weekday each month (e.g. “the first Monday”); or a custom list of exact dates you pick yourself. Later weeks are set automatically from your first week’s date.
• Weeks — how many weeks the league runs.
• Standings count — total of every week, best N weeks (with a “Best how many?” field), or an average per week.
• Weekly round — the one round shot every week (e.g. Indoor 300, 30 arrows).

Both forms share a Classes checklist — every active class from your master list is pre-checked; uncheck any that don’t apply to this specific event.
