Canceling or deleting an event

Each row in the Events list has a Cancel button next to Scores & standings.

1. Cancel marks the event cancelled — it shows as cancelled on the public site but everything else (registrations, scores, payments) stays intact. Fully reversible; cancel again to un-cancel.
2. Delete is a genuine, permanent removal — only allowed when nobody has an active registration on the event yet, specifically so you can’t accidentally wipe out real shooters’ scores and payments.

In practice: use Cancel for an event that’s already been announced or has any signups, and reserve Delete for a draft or test event nobody has registered for yet.
