Sending email and text messages

Communications → New update sends directly to people who’ve opted in, by email and/or text.

1. Send to shows exactly how many people you’ll reach by each channel (e.g. “Everyone — 2 email · 0 text”) before you send anything.
2. Write a subject and message (up to 8,000 characters), and check Also send as a text message if you want it texted too — only to people who opted into texts specifically.
3. You must check I’ve reviewed this message before Send now unlocks — a deliberate speed bump. Save draft keeps it without sending.

Text messaging works automatically for every club through one shared My Archery Club number — nothing to configure. Each text is prefixed with your club’s name so recipients know who it’s from, and every message includes a way to reply STOP to opt out, enforced automatically.
