Adding and managing members

Members can join themselves through your club’s public Join page, or you can add them directly from Members → Add a member manually — useful for a paper roster you’re moving online, a walk-in, or anyone who joined offline.

The Add a member manually form filled in with a sample name and email, and the Dues already paid checkbox
  1. Search Find an existing signup first — if they already signed up for club updates on your public site, this fills in their details for you.
  2. Fill in name, email, and optionally phone. They don’t need to create an account first — one gets set up for them, and they can sign in later with an email code.
  3. Check Dues already paid (cash, check, in person) when they’ve already paid you, so there’s no pending step.

Below the form, the roster table lists everyone with their contact info, role, and membership status:

  • Each member’s role — member, officer, admin, or owner — is a dropdown right in their row; change it and click Save. Only the owner can promote someone to admin or transfer ownership.
  • An officer’s specific permissions (members / events / communications) are set individually when you make them an officer — an officer doesn’t automatically get every permission.
  • Membership reflects their current dues term: Active (paid, current period), Pending (joined but unpaid), Lapsed (period ended, nothing renewed), or None (never had a term — e.g. the owner’s own account by default).

From the demo club

Riverbend Archery Club added its first 8 members this way — Morgan Ellis, Jamie Ortiz, Casey Bennett, Riley Novak, Taylor Brooks, Drew Sinclair, Avery Cole, and Quinn Tanaka. Six were marked dues-paid on the spot; Riley Novak and Avery Cole are still showing as pending.
