Getting started as a club admin
Every club has exactly one owner (the founder), and can have any number of admins and officers helping run it. Roles are set per person from Members and control what that person can do:
- Owner — everything, including Billing (the club’s platform subscription) and can transfer ownership.
- Admin — everything except Billing: members, plans, events, communications, forum sections, and settings.
- Officer — only the specific areas granted to them (members, events, and/or communications), set individually per officer.
The admin console (“Officer desk”) lives at /admin on your club’s own subdomain, reached from My account → Manage club once you’re signed in with one of the roles above. It only appears for accounts that actually have a role on that specific club — being signed in isn’t enough by itself.

The sidebar on every admin page is the same nine sections: Overview, Members, Plans, Events, News, Communications, Forum sections, Billing, Settings — plus a “Help center” link back to here. A first-week checklist:
- Add a logo, cover photo, and a few club photos in Settings → Theme & branding — the Overview page shows a reminder banner until this is done.
- Set up your club’s master list of competition classes at the bottom of Events (e.g. Recurve, Compound, Longbow) — every shoot and league draws from this list.
- Create at least one membership plan in Plans, even a free one, so people have something to join.
- Add your existing roster in Members, or share your club’s join link so people can sign themselves up.
- Publish your first shoot or league in Events.
- Set up a way to get paid — Venmo/CashApp, and Stripe once it’s available for your club — in Settings.
From the demo club
Riverbend Archery Club has already worked through this checklist — 8 members, 3 plans, and two live events — so every screenshot below is a filled-in example rather than an empty form. (The admin console itself needs an officer login, so it isn’t public — but its public site is.)
